Eric wins invite to Master Chefs

Master Mcgrath's head chef, Eric Scrivens, has been invited to join the prestigious Master Chefs of Great Britain Association. This is only provided to chef's recognized for the highest technical expertise. The Master Chefs of Great Britain was established in 1980 with the aim to strengthen the profession and provide an exchange for ideas among the most talented of chefs.

Eric prides himself on his meat and fish dishes, using the best quality ingredients, including herbs direct from Master Mcgraths own herb garden. He is a firm believer in providing excellent dishes without the need to over complicate them. Eric stated:

"It was fantastic to receive this accolade. This is recognition of my work and I have been asked to join an association of elite chefs. It is good that I have been nominated by other people in the same trade too".

Eric who lives in Lathom has been at Master Mcgraths for 6 years was asked to take up the honour at a special dinner in Scotland. Jim Sines, owner of Master McGraths added:

"I am extremely proud of him. Eric has put so m,uch in for so many years, it is good that he has been recognised".
